Warranty / Service Advisor

Wexford Car Centre has a reputation based on unrivalled levels of customer service and to support this objective we require a Warranty Administrator/Service Advisor who share this commitment.

The Role:

At Wexford Car Centre, our service advisors provide the link between our highly trained workshop technicians and our customers during a service visit and act as our retail centre's frontline in delivering customer focused service in a fast paced environment. They perform the key role of knowledgeable advisor to our customers in respect of the care of their vehicles and in explaining the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with Nissan/KIA specifications. 

Applicants must have excellent numeracy skills, be computer literate and have strong communication skills. The role is highly customer focused and requires an understanding of the importance of providing top class customer service. Warranty administration is time sensitive and will require the ability to work to a tight time schedule. Interest in the Motor Trade will give a distinct advantage. 

Full training will be provided.

Duties Include:

•Process all warranty paperwork, ensuring proper documentation and verify criteria required by factory or distributor.

•Keep abreast of all factory recalls and announcements.

•Arrange for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor and resubmit all rejected claims promptly.

•Reconcile all warranty receivables and work with the accounting department to obtain payments.

•Keep track of all warranty parts by noting the repair order number, date of replacement and date on which part may be disposed.

•Maintain all service and customer records as required by the manufacturer/warranty provider.

The ideal candidate will have administration experience, ability to learn fast in a dynamic working environment.  Attention to detail is important in this role, as is good customer service.
